wow this story and your writing is amazing! Mai was toxic for zuko i’m glad they broke up, the way she kept on goading him was grating on. my nerves because that’s just not how you treat someone you’re supposedly in love with. I do have complicated feelings about her though because it’s not her fault she doesn’t understand him, they’re different people with diff values, but at the same time she shows no tolerance or respect for him which makes me sad. Katara’s interactions with Zuko feels like a fresh cup of water though! The way that you describe them together (usually in Zuko’s pov) makes me feel as if a weight comes off MY shoulders when he talks to her. loving it!

This is a very intriguing story! Well done! I do hope you update this someday!

You know, it’s really hard NOT to review on this story, and despite the erratic schedule, it’s quite honestly worth the wait. From the slow pace to the realistic aspects of the breakup and sibling relationship to even the way you connected Sokka’s letters to the plot, the story is so good that even if you don’t update for another 10 months (though hopefully it isn’t so), I’d still read it and continue to support the process.

You’ve managed to give everything the fandom ever wanted, in a realistic concept, and I think you deserve all the reviews in the world for that. This truly is a gem of a story, and I do hope you continue it. I also hope you’re doing okay outside of FFN.

Started this story a couple of days ago and just finished up to the most recent chapter. I honestly love your fic. Thank you for writing even if you don't finish this I still appreciate the time you took to write these past chapters.

The scenes with Zuko and Mai are written so well, I actually enjoy reading them, not that I'm into Maiko but this is great for the eventual breakup.

Will Zuko and Katara be heading out together? I sure hope so!
