You are doing the right thing. I have really been enjoying this story, but you should be writing for you - not for other people. It is great when others can enjoy those stories along with you, but if it is not fun anymore there is no point. Thank you for writing this.

Was a fantastic story. And a goddamn shame you felt you couldn't continue it, as the one who adopted it didn't even get halfway through your content, it appears. You nailed quite a few things, even if some character decisions in the longer time gaps were... weak at times.

It's ironic you mention it that way because there is a spell widely used in the books where they close their eyes and point the wand and it gives them the location of the person, namely the "point me" spell. Which works everytime except when there's wards in place to confuse the spell. So hope you fix that plot hole.

In this chapter you wrote "For some reason, Teddy was crying too. then again, it was the first funeral he'd gone to since he was a baby, and those he didn't remember at all."
But in chapter 2 you wrote that Teddy was present in Jess's funeral. So which is it?

There's a plit hole in this chapter when Harry apparated into some random motel room she probably never seen. According to cannon, wizards and witches can only apparate to places they've been to before.
