What a wonderful story !

This got be one of the best cross over with EU & New Cannon that I have read. I love Mara to much to let her go with Disney's hackjob so Fanfictions all that is left . I hope J. J. Is able to pull a rabbit out of butt for IX. Love this story. I hope your able to come back to it.

OMG! Author, did you see the teaser trailer for Episode IX?! A certain person is making his return, and I have a very strong suspicion that he was the true mastermind behind the events of the sequel trilogy all along!

Just make your own version of what you expected to happen after TFA. You don’t have to confine yourself and follow everything in TLJ hell make up a whole different scenario and plot line! The Star Wars universe is a ton of lore to play around with with various storylines to go with...maybe take ideas from EU if it makes you happier...

I dont think TLJ was that bad. Hamill's new Luke is very much on line with his apparent feelings about Luke.
Revenge of the Sith was worse. Kylo in the throne room turning back to the light would have been worse. Then the movie would have just been a rehash of Return of the Jedi. Probably would have been better with some decent storyboarding and not every editor is Marcia.
I agree on the sheer quantity of EU content that has been lost, like tears in rain, hopefully some of it can come back.

I think that I feel the same way that you do about SWTLJ. Honestly, I'm glad there are fans like you who in spite of this still try to care about the series. Hopefully as Disney continues to make SW movies they and their directors, will actually create movies that the fans will care about again. I hate TLJ yes, but I refuse to allow it to ruin my enjoyment of SW as a whole, even if it means completely ignoring the new Canon at least until they get the execution of the new movies down.

At any rate I just wanted to say thank you for writing this amazing story and I wanted you to know there are still fans who care about and support authors like yourself. Take as long as you need to write, we'll still be here when you do. Shalom and may the force be with you.

Since I usually download Fanfiction stories to my Kindle so I can read them during downtimes at work, I rarely get to review but I must say, I enjoy this one and I always like to read stories including Mara Jade.

As a fellow writer, I share your grief when it comes to writing for something you have lost the heart for. That happened to me with the show Castle.

One comment about your opening words: the hyperspace jump thing with Snoke's flagship in Episode VIII actually makes sense, even though almost everyone thinks otherwise. If you want, I can explain it in a private message. If so, simply PM me :)

I would say that if you hate the Last Jedi so much then write your own plot, don't torture yourself trying to adapt a film you hate. At the end of the day none of us are allowed to profit from any of these stories, they are hobbies. If you don't enjoy what you're writing, then what's the point? That's certainly my attitude to writing, I write for myself first, so I'd advise you do the same. Write what you'd prefer.
