Hey, here there are anothyer person who loves VP series. I've played VP 1, VP 2: Silmeria and VP: covenant of the plume. Absolute amazing. I wish there club be more fic in this fandom...I guess i would have to help at this aim...

Anyways, good fic, thank you. I love the twisted characters so I love Lezard and I love Lezard and Lenneth pairing more than Lucian and Lenneth (Lucian is so weak sometimes...no guts when it's needed)

You did an awsome job writing Lezard. He's such a creepy freak, but as a *fictional* character it only makes him cooler (that doesn't work out so well in real life). The last paragraph is so ominous, and while I haven't played the sequal - and likely never will, unless the powers that be put in on PSP for me - it's probably slighly prophetic.

When I first read this story, I absolutely loved it. Now, I still really like it, but I've read it over enough times to make only one critical comment.

First, the good. It's an incredible story, and it's in first-person present-tense! That's my favorite viewpoint, and you know how to make it work for you. I could really feel Lezard's emotions, and they felt authentic. Realism is especially difficult in first-person fanfic because you have to fit the character's thoughts perfectly. The line that I will always remember from this story is this one: 'And I love her, because she is so perfect.' That just seemed to fit him so much that even now I feel a bit like squeeing. ;;

However, I have a bit of a problem with the pacing. Sometimes the thoughts don't seem to flow with logic from point A to point B, so it feels like a speedbump. This is more apparent in the begining, from the paragraph about Lorenta to his suddenly switching to thoughts about his non-pervertedness, and from the paragraph after that to his sudden thoughts about doing anything to please her. It's a very mild thing, but I feel like I should point it out. Oh, and for completion, the 'steel asleep' typo is kinda hilarious.

This story makes me believe, and that's what I think first-person should always do-make the reader believe that you know the character from the inside out. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story!

About error correction, I don't mean to be rude but it should've been 'Still asleep, aren't you? Good.' instead of 'Steel asleep...' Hehe. I just couldn't resist. Sorry... Sequel I beg of you... Hey, yeah, it's me, that guy who's completely unknown. Yeah. ANyways, I know it souns sad, but I ws not planning on reveiwing this. Then I read your profile and had to say tis, but Final Fantasy XII was a really boring pointless game, and that FFXI was generally better than any game I hve ever played in my whole life. However I just Got Star Ocean Till The End Of Time, and it's pretty damn awesome. Anywayz, good fic, and good opinion. Well fact, technically. Lol

I don't know how long ago you wrote this fic but I like it. Lezard's thought sequences get a bit boring to read after awhile though...more action maybe _~ hahaha...normally I hate it when a fan tries to "improve" upon a story but I really like the way you did it ) good job
