Read this in one night. You owe me some sleep :') Your story is that captivating. Barty and Hermione are perfect! The plot, the other characters, everything. Barty's madness is on point, and it's very interesting to see how it evolves around his new subject of obsession, Hermione. The most interesting above all is that, besides the romance (which is perfect), there's also a plot and suspense and all in all, the story is beautiful and intriguing. Bravo!

So, I stayed up till 4am last night tearing through this story and Innocence Ensnared, and I was blown away by them both. Your imagery and character development is so vivid, and this is an incredibly creative plot. The idea of the "Light" falling into corruption post war is so sadly believable, and it's so interesting to me how Hermione is at odds with what obviously was a slippery slope into complacency for everyone else, because of her coma induced absence.

And as far as Barty and Hermione, I'm so fascinated to see what happens. The tension between them is *chef's kiss*, but I also genuinely wonder if he will ever work past the mess that is his mind.

The Weasleys (George in particular) are breaking my heart a bit with their treatment of Barty, and their acceptance of the slavery in general. Same with Ginny and Harry. Ron ending up with someone like Lavender is exactly what I would have imagined happening if Hermione was taken out of commission. I love it.

I am very grateful to have found your stories, and I am eagerly awaiting an update! 3

wowowowo i never thought this would update. honestly in shock because i remember being so disturbed by barty being a character but the plot is so interesting so had to stick through and glad i did! can’t wait to reread and remember what was going on :) glad you’re back
