Tetho chapter 5 . 6/15 Meh, he could do much more by being a General mate plus with his family and the Ironwood's position in the Council and his connections he can pretty much try and support Polendina making weapons, mechs, power armor, etc. |

YiFang176 chapter 6 . 3/20/2019 I love this story. I enjoy how you've delved into not only the school life at Atlas but also the price and consequences of becoming normalized to the social problems of the nation you live in. I am sad that you aren't making it winter knight, I thought you were going to go the whole hate f*king route with it. But since your not I just want for Jaune and Weiss to become partners and when volume three guys and she and qrow visit for him to just start cursing her or because she's not his superior anymore, then qrow respecting him so much and for volume 4 onwards taking him under his wing |
quijibo7609 chapter 6 . 3/15/2019 Lefou... I miss this... |

Guestinator chapter 6 . 1/6/2019 *Reads Summary of story* And yet the last two chapters has been all angst/hurt/bullying instead of the Adventure/Suspense we were promised. You know what he does? He leaves. Boom! Everything changes, he doesn't put up with someone he can't trust (Winter) he doesn't have to deal with politics so directly, he doesn't have to turn his head at such horrible injustice. But he probably won't. Unless it is to, let us say Beacon, I just don't see you having Jaune be an adult and leaving when it is time to leave. As for why I said he can't trust Winter.. Look, if you beat someone at something and they spent Years ridding your ass as your boss to make your life hell that says Very Bad things about their mental state. How can you trust they won't snap if you save their life in the field? Or try to get back at you one way or another if you do a better job on a mission? Would you follow such a unstable person into battle? That doesn't even get into how by simply leaving and blaming it on Winter he would wreck so many plots. He would have payback on Winter, he would show he will stand up for what he believes in and perhaps most importantly clear his mind, his conscience. Though I don't get why so many reviewers seem to think he will become a Revolutionary. Sure it makes sense in a way but that would mean he actually Does something instead of spending years being ridden by a phychologist needing Specialist without seemingly to Try to do something. To be short? It goes against everything stated for Jaune so for. So... Do you keep story canon for how he acts? Or do you throw it away and say how it doesn't matter? Those are the two extremes but no matter what it is going to be one of those at least somewhat. Good luck but while a highly interesting idea the last two chapters have, for now at least, ruined my interest in further reading of this story. |
