The part with Isabella getting Scorpius out of bed was HILARIOUS xD

I found this series on Friday and have not been able to put my phone down since. Such an amazing plot and characters. I’m particularly fond of all of the Hogwarts student, whether they be an OC or canon character. Teenagers are so complex and layered yet so predictable (which makes a great read, of course!)

I wasn’t going to write a review until I had fully caught up with the story but couldn’t help myself with this chapter (it’s more of a question than a review, though.)

To me, Imogen is probably the character who is the hardest to understand. I’ve read a few chapters ahead also, and to me it’s apparent that she enjoys having people around, but not too close and aims to keep everyone at an arms distance, and that in spite of herself, deep down she would like some proper friends. In this chapter though, I find it hard to understand why thinking of Albus prompts her to essentially ask Zabini out. I’m guessing that Zabini is someone that she can have fun with with no strings attached whilst also using him as a ploy to steer Albus away?

Anyway, fantastic chapter! I’m going to resume reading now hahaha.

Something that I’m very pleased with in this fix is the dynamic between Scorpius and Rose. They don’t have a lot of petty issues. I mean, in most fics they have this on-and-off relationship, and they just keep fighting and everything. But here, they’re just so wholesomely pure and adorable uGH so cute

Just re-read this chapter and realised I somehow missed Imogen’s part the first time. The fact that she feels guilty is sad, does she believe she somehow lead Albus along? Or does her guilt tie in with regret that she won’t actively reciprocate his feelings? If she’s done the right thing for herself, by turning him down and leaving, guilt is a far better feeling than regret. Too bad she doesn’t stay though, she would of been a great fighter.

Loved the Slytherin pep talk from Draco at the end. It was chilling and inspiring at the same time.

That was riveting. Unbelievably intense. I didn’t realise until I finished it how tense I was! Exquisite storytelling. I was so moved. Not even sure how else to express the awesomeness!

Oh my god. I was totally thinking about Jim and Pam’s while I was reading it. I liked the way you started and ended the chapter the same way. Very full circle.

Let’s talk about PTSD! So great. Loved the James and Ginny scene. And the Rose and Scorpius scene was also so sweet. Plus the Weasley jumper! I loved all of it.
