I reallyyyyyy really LOVE this . Are you kidding me ? This is way more than Awesome. I read the fanfic where hiccup thought they had killed Astrid and got mad and killed everyone. But this one is better . First of all , I like when Astrid worry about hiccup and not the other way around , so her thinking he is dead works better for me . Second , you added alout more to the plot than a simple "got mad and destroyed everything in sight" . You made hiccup actually injured and also there was a real problem which is the dragons are locked up . I enjoyed reading this story and thank you for putting so much effort into it :)

Great character development for Astrid in this oneshot!
Here, she doesn't hit (then kiss) Hiccup.
Which is excellent! Because proper relationships aren't hit-and-kiss!
You're excellently developing their relationship to the point that it's shown in HTTYD 2, where Astrid just gives one friendly punch to Hiccup to congratulate him.

I'm ROFL at the fact that the escape is treated by Dagur and Ryker as somewhat of a bet!

Dagur is what's mostly great about this oneshot - assuming this takes place after the end of Part 2 of Season 3.
Here, you've written him as being hesitant to kill Hiccup, and possible questioning his own chosen path and hiding it behind a veil of arrogance, so as not to be exposed.

I love it! Hiccup has some of the best and worst luck. Worst because of hat he gets into, and best because he gets out.

I think this one-shot is well written and interesting. It was perfect for a little reading break in between my own wiring. Loved it! :)
