I wish Harry had been able to do more. Now he just ran in there without actually being useful in any way but I guess he was only eleven.
I was really scared that you were going to execute Sam there for a second. I'm glad you didn't though he really is dangerous. Honestly, biting people just because they want you to take your potions. Bad fox!
I did enjoy this story. You said that you feel that the second part of this story was less inspired? Well, I don't think so. It was good! I honestly could do without the spankings but they won't stop me from continuing to read what is clearly a very well-written and interesting story.
I wonder about second year. Does Harry know Parseltongue? Probably not. But what if he does? I'm looking forward to it!

Hurray! He made it into Gryffindor! I love how understanding and sweet snape was, especially near the end. It was really heartwarming and sweet. Draco is a prat but what else is new.

I have to go to sleep now but this sequel (is that what it is, a sequel?) you made 'To destroy a second chance' should I continue reading this before I read that or can I read it already? It sounds very cool and interesting.

For a moment there, I thought Harry wasn't going to get Hedwig. But honestly, Harry, a temper tantrum? When you're 11? and you already lived to be 20? Bad boy.
How awful will Snape be to him in potions if he winds up in Gryffindor? Ooooh, the possibilities!

Harry truly is an expert in getting himself into trouble, isn't he? It's a miracle that Snape hasn't shackled him to the wall yet with his constant disobedience and whatnot. And it's probably only going to get worse once he gets to know Ron.

This was a great chapter! You said it was hard to write - that happens sometimes - but it was really cool and exciting. I enjoyed it very much. So thanks!

Well, I'm just going to assume that the word they used was Hajime.
Did you do any form of Japanese martial arts/ martial sports or did you just look up the words associated with them?
Though I have trained with bokken myself and they're really not as much 'sharp' as they are heavy and could certainly be used for some blunt force trauma.
And this comes a tad late but two one would try to diminish the contact between katana as much as possible since it dulls the blade and those swords were very expensive, unlike swords used in medieval combat which were more about brute force and less about finesse.

But I am rambling about things you probably care next to nothing about. I apologize.

It was a fun chapter to read and I'm so happy that the wishing potion has finally been created. It will probably be used for something much more important than a ginormous chocolate frog. Oh, Harry. Where's your adult brain at, child?

I hope Snape is not gonna have Harry wear all that protective gear at Hogwarts. They don't even wear helmets there! Or do they? I don't think so...

Anyways, I feel as if I'm nearing the sorting point. I still hope he makes Gryffindor. Will you surprise me and put him in Hufflepuff? Probably not.
