Bad summary. Excellent, unusual one-shot. I like how expressive the given perspective was, and how it was never a meeting of equals.

Hah! This is great. Elias is extremely powerful in his own realm, but isn't actually in Marcone's league at all.

I haven't read Dresden Files so I feel unqualified to offer any deep analysis of this short story. All I can say is that you've wonderfully nailed Elias, and your style is, as always, superb.
