Thank you so much for this beautiful story, one of the most beautiful ones I've ever had the honor to read. A story I could not only read and cherish, but actually feel! And just in case - I don't mean the more physical aspects of their relationship (which were written rather aesthetically too, b.t.w., but no, not them ;-) - but above all, the first chapters when he tended to 'his' forest, felt the trees' souls reach out to him, put one of the Old Ones to sleep, met the mountain lioness, felt the storm rising and so on. And of course the last chapter/s which were touching on another level ... when he broke down, my heart almost literally ached for him. I.m.o. your writing style is ... I'm starting to repeat myself, but I can't help it ... just that - beautiful (to a non-native speaker of your language, but an avid reader of hundreds of ff's at least, so maybe I am allowed to take the liberty of saying so).
