anonymous chapter 1 . 7/9/2017 I love this story so much, I come back to read it often. I really enjoy anything you write but I particularly love how protective and understanding you write Han. It's so endearing and makes me melt a little bit at the sweetness of it all, even though triggers are a serious thing. |
purpleplasticpurse chapter 1 . 2/20/2017 For as much time as I spend reading everything you write, I don't review nearly as much as I should. This was one of the first stories of yours I read and fell in love with. I love protective Chewie, and how you write his friendship with Leia. Now to Han and Leia .. my heart tore a little bit at the line "seeing herself bleed made her feel more human." I loved Han's inner thoughts, and how he comes to understand Leia's triggers but still cracks a joke about rescuing her for free. Also, I 100% agree with your opinion that Han gave in first. Finally, I love the double meaning of "pointy things." : ) |
Sofie.C chapter 1 . 10/30/2016 Thank you for sharing this meaningful story! To me the title "Pointy Things" does have an interesting double meaning: There are the needles of course, but there are also the pointy (and phrophetic) things they have said. You also handled the issue of PTDS very careful and with great sensitivity. Leia has been traumatized very badly and it feels good and right to have her opening up on this to Han. Loved his statement, he would have rescued her for free, if he had known about her torture. Gone is your mercenary, Princess! This is an interesting glimpse into the early stage of their relation, done with great empathy for the characters, I appreciate it a lot. |
MuggleCreator chapter 1 . 6/11/2016 Perfect. Loved how you conveyed the emotions. |
Mako-clb chapter 1 . 6/4/2016 Somehow I've read this twice now, and I'm only just reviewing. I like the interaction between Han and Leia, and I just love this line: "Look, if I'd known they were – torturing you," he said bluntly, "doing stuff to you – that badly," he went on. "I would've done the rescue for free." |
banzi chapter 1 . 1/28/2016 Nice |
Archaeologistof-theresistance chapter 1 . 1/25/2016 I, too, tend to get very uncomfortable around needles. So I sympathize with Leia on that. What a wonderful story. I very much enjoyed it. Well done! |
Tina910 chapter 1 . 1/24/2016 I liked this story a lot. Great job! |
soyunax chapter 1 . 1/16/2016 I loved it! |
NikitaKaralis chapter 1 . 1/10/2016 Wow! I like these moments of yours were Han and Leia slowly get to know each other on different levels before they finally admitted to their feelings. Great job! I liked how Han said they would continue to try with needles until she finally was able to push past Vader and the cell! Great job! |
aleison chapter 1 . 1/8/2016 oh my god...I need you to write a million Han/Leia one shots. I laughed and I cried and now I'm dead |
MandyQ chapter 1 . 1/9/2016 This was fantastic. It was light and fun until it wasn't. And that's what medical PTSD is. I actually have this condition and have had pretty much exactly Leia's reaction to the idea of a shot. It's a real thing and you captured it really well. You also did a great job with the relationship- the antagonism masking concern was very well done here. Nice job. -MQ |
DS2010 chapter 1 . 1/9/2016 Love how Han is trying to help Leia get over her fear of needles, especially after Vadar. Don't like them either. |
Brievel chapter 1 . 1/8/2016 Oh, I love this - I love this! Spectacular! |
Falfa'sGirlRubyRed chapter 1 . 1/8/2016 I like this story very much and I think you got Han and Leia just right. Poor Leia's been put through so much in SW, so it's interesting to see this side of her. Hope you continue the story, cuz I'd like to see what happens next. |
