Poe...I love him. I want him for my best friend...and Maz for my senile, but wonderful crazy aunt/mentor. Wouldn't mind me a Ben Solo too (But they are hard to come by.) Thanks for the brief comic relief there at the end. It helped break the tension.

Whoa...those last two chapters...I'm so emotional. It's so perfect. I almost wish this was the way it had gone in the movies. And Ben is still in there in Kylo's heart. I love him so much, but poor Rey, talk about having serious baggage and trauma to deal with.

This was an outstanding fic! i gotta say, when i first started reading this, i thoroughly enjoyed the plot, but had hesitations on how Rey and Ben interacted with each other. Ben just seemed to have feelings for her from the start that I had a hard time believing, and i just didn't think it beleivable- but i really enjoyed the plot so i kept reading and FINALLLY! IT FREAKING MADE SENSE! THEY HAD A HISTORY TOGETHER! i freaked out and was so pleased i kept reading! by far one of my favorite fics! i love this! you did them both justice! thank you! thank you! thank you! i honestly screamed because it finally made sense his relationshio with her and omg. great freaking job!

I wanted to thank you for writing and finishing this story. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed each and every chapter, each and every paragraph. It helped me survive the long wait between TFA and TLJ and I'm not sure what I'm going to do now till Christmas comes and the last of the movies comes out. Maybe I'll start rereading :-).

This was by far the best FF I've read so far. And I gotta tell you, when I went to see TLJ and the first force connection scene came on, I literally squealed in the theatre, only to have everyone look at me weirdly, because it was so much like your story!

HOOOOOLLYYYYY WOOOOOWW. I happened upon this fanfic when I was searching for another fanfic called awakening which was also reylo, coincidentally your first chapter is called awakening. I am so glad I clicked on this instead. It's only been 2 weeks that I've read this and finished it, but I feel like it's been years because of how immersed I was in the character development. No other fanfic can touch this one. You incorporated their personalities and so many new elements so beautifully, that when I finished this I was nearly in tears because I didn't want it to end. I can rest easy knowing that I have read the best reylo fanfic out there. Thank you for writing this and putting I'm sure countless amounts of effort and hours into finishing this masterpiece! 3

Thanks for writing such a complex and emotional story. My heart was breaking for Ben and Rey through most of it. I more than half expected Ben to die with all of Rey's nightmares.
