This story was great! I absolutely love the writing style, how it seems more like a stream of consciousness rather than structured sentences. I enjoyed reading this from Sam's POV. I always wondered how he could switch from solider to police officer in the span of just a few episodes. It didn't seem like they dug deeply enough into Sam's transition period. So, I feel like this story fills in some of those gaps. I love how Sue runs the pet shop. Sam's lucky to have run into her. The fact that Sam shared the same kind of therapy with Ed towards the end makes it better.
