Totally unique and brilliant! I love the main character because despite being a civilian, she doesn't let that get her down in the Shinobi world or even try to be a shinobi. Instead she uses her wits and understands the public to protect her daughter! Very well-though out character which, even though we only know her for a one-shot, is interestingly developed. I can't wait for the next one!

An SI who's the mother of the Jinchuriki Fu? Definitely interesting.

The love story between her and Tohru was actually very sweet. When the pressure of being shinobi weighed down on him, Hotaru agreed to have a child to make him happier, despite all the hardships that came after.
I really enjoyed that despite staying a civilian, Hotaru does her best to please and protect her loved ones. She has the knowledge needed to try and make fail-safes for her daughter having a good life in Taki, and even got Kushina to come and help work on the seal to store the Seven-Tails into Fu.

The next chapter preview...An SI as Yugito Nii? Or an SI replacing Yugito as the Two-Tails Jinchuriki?

Anyways, I really like the concept of having a fic that has multiple SI story ideas. It reminds me of Reincarnation Roulette from Silver Queen. In a good way, though, I assure you.

Very interesting

well, this has been a fascinating introduction to what i believe (amd hope) to be a fruitful and beautiful series. as terrible as most si-oc fics tend to be, i have found some of my top-tier, absolute-favorite stories(including both unpublished&published work here) among that genre. however, i have found myself attached/ have some hopes for this character/fu surviving the aftermath of canon, so i must ask, would you be taking this story towards a surviving-canon-au? its fine if its not, i just need to brace myself accordingly if it isnt. my musings on the future aside, thr story. an excellent start, focusing on a side character, who by simply standing beside jinchuuriki, has a paddle with which the flows of canon can be diverted. and yet, not so major nor located in such a major area(like konoha) that she needs to match certain canon/fanon stylings. i do have to wonder she knew about the motives of the akatsuki... but if she is a si/oc/recarnation like how the rest of the characters would be, it does make sense. i wouldnt have picked it up tho. its subtle, and the clever readers would be able to pick it up from the (in retrospect) oddly worded intro or from the future knowledge. i do have some quibbles about how fuuinjutsu was introduced, but thats mostly because my headcanon of it comes from deja vu no jutsu, whose world building is pretty much overrules actual canon for me. in anycase, i am thankful that you considered sharing your hard work to us, it is a privilege that we are honored to accept. i hope you the best in your writings/irl, and i look forward to your future work.

I absolutely loved this! And that it was Kushina she ended up meeting. Definitely wouldn't mind a follow-up to this story, but I'm looking forward to any ones you might have. For prompts, how about one for Kaguya-the one who started the whole bijuu mess?
