Great story! It felt real and true to the characters. I could see this as an episode or a special movie. Glad everything worked out in the end thanks to Cody!

Poor Murray...he's soooo upset about his sister that he's not thinking clearly. Nick would DIE for Cody or Murray...or Murray's SISTER. Nick right now, is feeling guilty, and is out there doing EVERYTHING he can to bring Murray's sister home to Murray.

And then, Murray will have to face reality, and that his thoughts about Nick were not true. And WHY did he rush to those thoughts?! He'll have to face that too! But Nick will not ever hold it against him.

Nice ending. Still, why not give thought to considering a crossover involving the guys with the title character of the 1962-63 B&W sitcom "ENSIGN O'TOOLE"?

Of all the chapters in all the "RIPTIDE" stories on the site, this has to be one of the better ones by far. Maybe the guys need to visit with their old buddy Stanley Wojihoeweicz aka Wojo from "BARNEY MILLER"?

I hope that Nick recovers in time. Besides, some of us readers would give anything to read about George Jefferson opening up new dry cleaning stores in the greater Los Angeles area, including King Harbor, and it would give the guys something to do when a construction contractor is murdered, and George is blamed for it, leaving the guys to find the real culprits involved, and bring them to justice. It would make for a great crossover between "THE JEFFERSONS" and "RIPTIDE". Afterall, giving it a try won't do no harm, will it?

Nice chapter. Still, a good crossover is needed, say by having the guys visit Mayberry, North Carolina, USA, and catch up on old times from 'Nam with their good buddy Gomer Pyle. We don't have very many crossovers involving Cody, Nick, and Murray, let alone Gomer either. However, I feel that Sheriff Andy Taylor would love just to just meet them, and Murray can enlighten Barney Fife on a lot of the 80s technology. LOL! Besides, may as well have Gomer settled down with Jan Brady as Mrs. Gomer Pyle, eh?

Maybe it's about time for The Screaming Mimi to fly out of King Harbor to drop in on another Vietnam buddy of the guys, namely Sgt. T.J. Hooker of "T.J. HOOKER"? Can't wait to read it.

One thing a lot fans are awaiting, fanfiction wise that is, "RIPTIDE MEETS MANNIX". It'd be a great way to be honoring Mike Connors aka Joe Mannix.

Of all the fictional TV characters of the 70s and 80s who served in Vietnam, Rick Simon is one of those. To begin with, he befriended Cody, Nick, and Murray over there to start with. Then maybe a brand new type generation can form by having Rick Simon wed Melba Bozlinsky? OK, so it may be a bit far fetched, but a good "SIMON & SIMON"/ "RIPTIDE" crossover is way overdue.

Perhaps it is time for Jessica Fletcher to leave Cabot Cove, Maine, to Visit King Harbor, California, and solve a good murder with the help of Nick, Cody, and Murray? Afterall, crossovers don't grow on trees, you have to cook'em up, you know.

So far the only crossover involving "RIPTIDE" also involves "STARSKY & HUTCH". Maybe Mama Jo's flashy cousin, Honey West should drop in? The late Anne Francis aka Mama Jo, played the title role in the TV series "HONEY WEST" during its one season run on ABC in the 60s.

So far so good. Say, ever think about writing a crossover for Cody, Nick, and Murray to visit 1313 Mockingbird Lane in the lil' ol' Grand Rapids, Minnesota, based suburb of Mockingbird Heights? Look at it this way, maybe Eddie Munster could have known them back in Vietnam? Couldn't hurt nothing. Besides, it is probably worth a shot.
