I like this. maybe Naruto wants to see it all

I would love another chapter, or maybe another one shot of Naruto deciding not to comeback after his training trip. Like him leaving a note explaining about shiori and just what he 'feels' from konoha. And then maybe how he gets to explore the world while evading everyone by using the same gift. I mean even roots emotionless would be blanks to his ability in a sea of emotions. It would be an interesting way to end the series conflict. No one could sneak up on him because he uses his version of nishu to avoid all who would do him harm.

I hope you continue this story! I'm excited to see what happens next!

Very novel premise! I don't know if it was intentional or not, but Naruto's tele-empathy could also be seen as a play off of the "connected feelings" thing towards the end of the manga, making for a very clever and realistic ability. It suits his character.

I think this has a lot to offer on the ninja universe. Naruto's world isn't expanded on enough, and when it is, it often distracts from the characters expanding in tangent. But here, you've managed a compelling balance, and I'm actually curious as to where you'll bring him next. And I'm *especially* curious how Itachi will factor into his travels.

I think Naruto was too desperately fixated on the Hokage goal, using it as a bulwark against all the bad things. Something to focus on so he could block out the rest. So I really like the introspection here.

Interesting story!

The beginning was sad but made me hopeful that Naruto would be happier. It's always interesting to see fics where Naruto doesn't want to stay in Konoha and be free to travel. I like where this is going and can't wait to read more! :)

wow...this should be a VERY good series if done right...A bit sad about his first love, but wow...thatd be a good one to bring up to jiraiya later...asking WHY it was nessessary? If the response is a ninja cant be going rogue he cant simply state the entire village system is a mistake...

This... I definitely will read. It sounds brilliant. A really original reason for Naruto wanting to leave Konoha instead of the usual 'screw the villagers.' Will Naruto eventually leave the elemental nations on his own trip, or is this just his journey with Jiraiya?
