damn the feels

Wow. This fic was different from what I imagined at the beginning. Which is good, and also interesting. I loved the character of Matthias. His death was very sad. Also, the way you write about magic is always very interesting.

And the characters, Wow. You wrote them very well. I loved how Wendy's character has grown during the story. And the scenes of Ultear were very realistic for how she was at that time. I also don't forget about Siegrain-Jellal. I love how you write "Siegrain's character", because it's difficult (at least for me) to find Jellal stories with part of Siegrain's personality.

An incredible fic.

That was a really touching ending and great story overall. But Wendy's story keeps going on about loss especially what happens at the end of this arc. Would have loved to seen your interpretation with this version of Wendy, but ...

I'm so glad I happened upon such a gem. Reading this story was such a treat. I really enjoy your writing style and the way you characterized Jellal, Wendy, their relationship, as well as the supporting cast (Rip Matthias btw). It's so rare to find such a well developed plot and characters in a fairy tail fic. I surprisingly didn't mind your use of oc's thanks to how well you wrote and integrated them into the story. I'll definitely make sure to read the rest of your ft fics. I really hope you'll consider making a sequel for this fic - I really want to see Jellal remember Wendy again; it'd also be interesting to see Lahar's reaction to Jellal, but either way I'm satisfied with how you ended this story.

And I finally found the time to start reading this, and just like the other two fics of yours that I have read, I fell in love with it as soon as I started. It's brilliant how you you introduced Seigrain into this. And I simply adore cute little Wendy's silly questions and Jellal's/Seigrain's equally silly answers (the superheroes cracked me up). And now I shall slowly drift into the land of fanfictions...

Sometimes, all it takes is one person being themselves. In Team Natsu, Wendy is the heart of the group. A girl who is still able to smile, despite all the trauma she experienced, and it is a genuine smile.

Sometimes, all it takes one person believing in you, that you are better than you think you are. Jellal was in a dark place, and Wendy was able to get him to see the light. And, at the Tower of Heaven, he was able to finally become a good man.

I would also think that Wendy would have some rather choice words toward Ultear if she ever found out about the woman's manipulations of them. And if she were to clash with her, and by some chance win, because Ultear is an extremely dangerous mage, she wouldn't kill her. She will show Ultear the ultimate cruelty in her own kindness.

Because no one can be crueler than a kind person.

Wow! I love stories like this, where you take a connection and create a what-if, and tweak it such that everything is different, yet the same at the same time. Wendy and Jellal (or rather, Siegrain)... An interesting combination!

Beautiful plot interwoven very well into canon, along with very well paced story and character development. The individual personalities and struggles really show through.

I am both happy and sad i's over. This is so well written and so well put together. I can really imagine it happening along with the cannon story. I hope you continue to write. After such a long tiring day, this really made me smile. I loved it!

Your writing style is honestly so pleasing, if you published something of your own that had nothing to do with Fairy Tail, I would still buy and read the book.
It's rare to find writers as good as you on here :P
