A idea for a story; it is years in the future, and Godzilla dies peacefully of old age. How would people react? Nick would certainly take it the hardest (even if he felt awkward being Godzilla’s “father” at first, he certainly grew an attachment to the creature). HEAT would probably be disbanded, and Nick, assuming his releationship with Audrey goes nowhere, only has his memories of Godzilla to sustain him. Eh, I’m actually upset writing this idea. Sorry for bringing the subject of sad/tragedy up.

Can you make a fanfic on the episode “Future Shock”, while I am not a fan of that episode, I do like the poignant scene of Godzilla got his own statue for his heroic sacrifice by protecting millions of people from the DRAGMAS. I always wanted a fanfic to explore that "missing scene". Assuming Godzilla died from injuries, possibly surrounded by a comforting Craven and Hicks, and grateful human strangers, what are Godzilla's thoughts, as he dies? Whom are they on? It would probably be on a certain "adoptive father". :(
