Poor Shawn/Sharon is having a hard time dealing with this change. And the fact that what she is going through is dangerous too doesn't help.

And it sounds like Shawn had been on suicide watch before. Maybe when his monthly gender swap first started? I'm guessing it didn't start happening until puberty, yes?

This is an amazing amazing story that I am enjoying very much! I need to know how Lassie is going to react. Also, when are you going to reveal how and why Shawn changes into Sharon every month? Very intriguing stuff going on here.

And I just want to add that I really liked the scene at the gun range. Lassiter's reaction was too cute!

Interesting premise. I hope you can give us more than one chapter a year now.

My one issue is that other than the sexytimes, they don't really seem to have any emotional connection? If this is going to be a love story in the end, where they stay together, you should show us how that gets started. Right now we have Lassiter confused and kind of annoyed and "Sharon" just teases him when she's not bored with his activities. It's like when they're not behind closed doors, there's not much of a relationship for readers to see? Hope that makes sense.

I have to say, I agree with Shawn- I mean Sharon, and Lassie. Leap Year had a lot of potential it didn't live up to. A sad waste of a good cast. I also appreciate that you didn't name it specifically so that fans of the movie won't necessarily feel slighted.

I'm surprised Sharon calling Carlton Lassie wasn't a bigger thing. You'd think he'd start to suspect. I also really liked getting to see more of Gus in this chapter. I'm loving Jules's friendship with Carlton in this. It's really sweet. Out of curiosity, will there be more hints of Gus/Jules? I know he asked her to dance in the first chapter, but I'd be interested to see that developed more. Especially if Jules ended up in on the secret before Carlton.

I'm enjoying this so far & am interested to see more. :)
