I feel like I've told you this a lot of times already but "it's" is always a contraction of "it is" and never a possessive pronoun. Possessive pronouns don't have apostrophes in them.

She probably is right about her mother wanting her to leave and get lost in the country. I mean seriously, what are the chances that she'll find a trinket that was thrown out in the swamp several years ago? Even if that's what she really wanted was for Krista to find the it, it seems odd to send her out looking for it now after so much time has passed.

That bear sounds a bit creepy, smiling on one side its face and grinning on the other. But she seems happy with it, and is going to take it home. It's good that she has a new toy/friend, but still, the bear sort of gives off creepy vibes, like the white half is good and the black half is evil.
