This was a really sweet one-shot and I loved all the interactions between Emma and Killian and the development of their relationship! Henry was written well and Emma opening herself up to the idea of having friendships with the other moms was also a really nice touch! Great job and I can't wait to read more of your work!

I was so entirely impressed with this that I didn't think I could articulate how much I enjoyed it. Then I scrolled up, saw who the author was, and had an "ah-ha!" moment when I realized it was you. No wonder I enjoyed it, I've seen the work you did in Kind Hearts and Cat Flaps. This one, while quite a degree shorter considering it was a oneshot, was on par with that, that's how good it was. I loved that though it looks like there's more Killian/Emma moments than Emma and Henry ones, neither of them outweighed the other. Emma's interactions with Henry, wanting to do right by him, feeling like a fish out of water among other mother's who she thought did better, were so poignant that I wanted to cry more than once for her and though we didn't see any of this from Killian's point of view, the way we saw his story unfold was beyond perfect. This wasn't a rushed romance, this wasn't a love-at-first-sight story, but I think it was so much better to watch them slowly unfold. Thank you so much for sharing this, I can't get enough of fics like these!

That was so painful but so wonderful how they both opened up and found real connections!

I truly enjoyed this, it was sweet. I hurt for Emma for a bit, not fitting in with the other moms and feeling judged. I hurt for Killian when she refused to be his friend. He was so sweet and so lonely. She was lonely too but she she had Henry and she didn't want more. Killian was trying to be her friend. But finally, on Christmas Eve, under the mistletoe, it worked out. This was very nice.

This is like THE most sweetest beautiful cutesy and one the best holiday fluff I have ever read..

Starting till the end.. The uncertainty... The meeting.. The sharing of the story was amazing..

I especially loved little duckling measuring cups.. I was banking on that only..

I loved the awkwardness that you weaved in the story.. It was sweet.. And the mother discussing their issues was so sweet..
