I know you said this is a one shot, and it ended well, but it almost seems like it could have a sequel with him fighting ghost and if Sam and Tucker find out.

Oh how cool could it be, to see how this affects the rest of the series? It took him quite a while to get enough control to not slip too often, and while his parents can call him out of school for a bit, Sam and Tucker would still inevitably catch him slipping soon enough with how much time they spend together usually. Plus, with Danny out of school for a few weeks, of /course/ they'd break in if they had to to see him. Maybe not quite as determinedly as they would after Danny's spent a while getting hurt fighting ghosts, because that definitely drastically upped the worry responses, but I could still see them doing it after being given the run-around for a week straight. So them finding out wouldn't take long, keeping that part of events. But Sam and Tucker getting taken in as "apprentices" by the "Master" Hunters... *cackles* Sam and Maddie are both quite scary and impressive. Some mutual training could be /awesome/. Plus Jazz gets to be a brilliant big sister sooner, being in the loop already.
Oh Vlad, you are /so/ screwed. *imagines the Fentons reactions to seeing Plasmius beating down beginner-Phantom* *Plasmius probably will wish he was actually fully dead*

I really like your take on his Jack and Maddie would react to seeing Danny's accident and subsequent transformation. There's just the right amount of doubt and fear but also something that will become acceptance.

The grief and panic after the portal is turned on and Jazz's hysterics after Danny stumbles out of it were also very believable. This was great to read.

My, my. *grinning* This was amazing to read and I'm so glad I found this. I'll have to thank a reviewer who is the reason I got to see Genesis. I've read many revelation fics with many different premises but this is the first I've ever seen where the Fenton's are there right from the get go. The grammar was very good, I didn't catch any mistakes, and I enjoyed your writing style. Would you ever consider a follow up chapter? I know this isn't intended to start an ongoing story but maybe an epilogue showing several years later how things have turned out?

Aww, family fun. Well, perhaps that's not the best way to put it, but hey, Danny gets ghost powers and the Fenton family gets to understand why. And bonding. The bonding is the best.

In all seriousness, this is a really great idea. Bravo.
