so first impressions this is pretty good but you don't have to keep repeating how wise and powerful he is for example you could have just said the grass tickled Ruff densly (forgive my poor spelling) callous hands and feet instead going because of him being a warrior for thousands of years you have already established this many times it's good to do this in like revelations to other characters but when your just talking to the reader (if you know what I mean) the just please consider doing it in a subtle way
