This story is downright AMAZING it was wonderful to read, well thought out thank you so much for making this

This was a awesome ending to a awesome story (that's going to keep going, yay!)

I love the mystery of everything that's going on. Who knows, who doesn't know about the current state of reality, Ezra and Anakin and what the future holds for everyone from here on out. Maul showing up was a great surprise. It seems like other then the Inquisitor's and Yoda, he also knows what's up (good old Maul, always wanting to be the one to one up everyone no matter how many times he fails to be satisfied). I'm eager to see him and Kanan cross blades again (or am I? Maybe Kanan in this universe can escape being blind since there was never a "truce" between them and the encounter ensures Ezra will not be trusting Maul since he's probably had more then enough of being kidnapped/taken from Kanan against his will) as well as what kind of force he's going to become later on now that he's known.

Luke being targeted. Anakin and Padme's Luke. Who has the death wish of the century (I hope the council will learn their lesson from what happened to Ezra and handle this better. Though it's possible since he's the kid of a Jedi hero and famous ex queen Senator, Luke's going to get extra protection anyway. It's a little bitter feeling to know that because Ezra's a orphan of no known importance that most everyone can pass over him so easily. But it's good to think Luke's connection to his parents most likely means he has a better chance of being safer from harm... probably)!?

Does that mean Luke and Leia get to meet Ezra? Considering how fast Leia and Ezra grew close to each other (w/Leia at least hinted to having a bit of a crush on him and Ezra maybe reciprocating despite the events), it'd be nice to see them interact and become friends here. I'd see Luke getting along w/him as well. It's sad seeing such a social kid like him not being able to make any friends his age yet to pal around with and accept him for himself.

The biggest and best development was definitely Hera and Kanan's relationship. I like how Hera comes along and, despite the initially rocky start, they've now become as close to each other as Kanan is with Ezra. It's like a mirror of canon where Ezra came late but he quickly become one of the two most important people in Kanan's life. They may not know everything about the other or have reach the point of being in love w/each other yet, but they know they are important and are totally sticking to each others side no matter what (plus it's nice for Kanan to expand his social circle outside of his little padawan son and the sassy teen mando girl. Kanan needs some adult friends he can't chase off w/his 'pleasant' attitude).

One of the things I'm definitely looking forward to in the next part is Hera and Ezra's relationship. Their canon relationship is one of my favorites and I liked what little we saw here. Considering she wanted to meet him, I'm looking forward to seeing them bond w/each other next time. She already displayed some good protectiveness and softness around him and he has to know she's a big part of why he was rescued. I think they'd be pretty good together since Ezra is usually the one who validates/listens to Hera's feelings, both are similar personality wise and in this story Hera and Ezra would probably be more comfortable talking to each other over Jedi/Republic matters. Ezra had a life outside the temple and he'd be less bias/quicker to pick up on things Kanan would be about certain matters as well as understand better things most people take for granted. Whatever beef Hera has w/Jedi and the Republic I could see her opening up to Ezra about it. Same for Ezra as he might also have things about the Jedi/Republic (if his parents were still Rebels who knew things like Hera does) he's never opened up to about because everyone around him is pro 100% that stuff. No questions asked.

But yeah, this is a awesome au of canon and how you've interpreted or introduced stuff from canon here. From Maul's interest in Ezra. Kanan and Hera's partnership. Anakin and Padme having their family and careers but the dark side threatening all that. Everything that is tied together and handled in this universe is very interesting, particularly when it's hinted the canon verse did happen (or some people are aware of different outcomes, such as Ezra and Anakin's dreams, on some level).

Oh. My. Word. This was a perfect ending to part one! And there are still SO MANY questions left unanswered! Where are the rest of the Inquisitors? When's Maul going to show up to claim Ezra as his apprentice? Does Ezra know that Palpatine is Sidious? And so many more that I wanna ask! What is going to happen!? Phantom Dealer aka Maul is still out there and just put a bounty on Luke. I do hope that Ezra will interact with Luke and Leia, maybe encounter Han Solo and Chewie on the way.
Although relieved, I kinda hoped that there would be a better fight for Kanan and Hera's freedom but its good. Yoda to the rescue!

Uh oh, your in trouble Chopper, if Hera doesn't get imprisoned first she'll rip every part you have.
The Honor Guard as arrived, will they take them into custody or will they escape? Can't wait to find out.
If they do arrest them (minus Ezra since he was a prisoner to the enemy), Ezra will wonder why the Republic is hunting his Master and will try to convince everyone not to put him in prison. The Honor Guard might separate them because they don't want to risk Kanan escaping and Sabine might talk to Ezra about what's been going on since his kidnapping.

XD And it was at that moment Chopper knew that he had messed up! Oh boy, not good, not good at all! The Grand is dead, the Phantom Dealer really is Maul, and now they're gonna get captured! Chopper messes EVERYTHING up! Love the chapter! You cleared up quite a bit. Love it! Can't wait for the next!

Oh man, oh man!

This was the best chapter yet! I theorized on stuff like this here, but I was a bit surprised that Yoda knew exactly what situation they were in concerning the current and past reality and EzraAnakin's connection. What does this mean! Did something happen to the original timeline that got it destroyed/reset and only Yoda knows? Is it more like Yoda was given a vision of what could have been but was able to stop/fix things before they got that bad (like defend Ahsoka more and address Anakin's relationship w/Padme in a way early on that prevented Palpatine from swooping in ), unlike in canon?

I love that Kanan finally rescued Ezra. Though now he's got to rescue Hera. Plus the bad guys are far from done with Ezra (and it looks like Anakin's in trouble too). I'm dying to know what happens next. Where's Kanan going to go? Is he going to hand Ezra over to the Jedi and accept whatever punishment they give him (I'm hoping Yoda's like "crime, you did not commit" cause from what's been revealed, Yoda should definitely step up and be there for Kanan and Ezra). Will he meet Sabine and Zeb and decide he needs to figure out what/who and why Ezra is being hunted and for what purpose on his own (since the Jedi council has proven they're not much help in protecting his padawan)? Will he sense Hera is alive before they (the Inquisitor's) do whatever they plan to do with her in order to draw Ezra back to them?

So many questions. I'll be interested in how the characters go about piecing things together of the mystery of Ezra (and Anakin and who the big bad's are).

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS! They found Ezra! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The Inquisitors' have Hera!
I- Okay. This chapter. Just... WOW! We see a TOTALLY new side to Kanan, and Hera. We see Ezra escaping at last (sorta). We see that Anakin is the lock, and that also in this universe that his actions are the ones that shape the fate of the galaxy as in the one we know. We also see that the Phantom Dealer isn't actually WITH the Inquisitors, and that just makes this thing all the more exciting! And the thing I love the most, we see that Yoda knows what could happen and that even Obi-Wan, the so-called "perfect Jedi", has attachments! :D
Poor poor Ezra. He just wants to escape and get away. And Kanan wants that to. So does Hera, as seen with her sacrificing herself. We actually saw an Inquisitor, the highest one, lose his composure! CX That to me, was just perfect! And we also saw Kanan reflecting how far he's come from the Jedi Order. Over all, love it! Can't wait to see/read what happens to our favorite heroes/underdogs next time!

Ezra saved but Hera stayed behind to give them a head start. What are they going to do?
Boy, I hope Zeb and Sabine would swoop in and help rescue Hera and they'll be home free. I do wonder how everyone will react once Kanan returns with Ezra. Probably arrest him and put Ezra in a medical facility to recover from the ordeal. Who knows.
When and if they do return to Coruscant, would it be really interesting if there's a fight between the Republic Senate and the Jedi Order over Ezra? The Senate's argument could be either about how dangerous Ezra is or they want the Jedi to turn him over to Republic custody because of the war threat and the Jedi's argument is that since Ezra is still a Padawan in the Order, they still technically have custody over him and is hesitant to give him up.
