Oh my god, you went full sci-fi space adventure with this one! Loved it! Also... holy hell!? wtf, you made Slade Dick's dad! And you did it well! I was recently reading another fic where they made Slade a blood relative of Dick's and the story totally fell flat, it felt like a total stretch. You managed to make it make sense and feel not only plausible but understandable considering Slade's obsession with Dick. I can see this news being something that slowly turns Dick's thinking towards Slade a bit more. Not right away of course, Slade is still holding the lives of his loved ones hostage after all.

I have only one question for this chapter. Why didn't Dick or Alfred suggest trying to commandeer the spaceship of the aliens that chased them to that planet? They were killed off by the crystal eyed aliens, so their ship should be empty right? I can see Slade actively choosing to ignore that tidbit to keep Robin on the planet, but I'm surprised that Dick didn't think of it. Alfred too.

Wow. What a way to end it. The “I’m your father” twist is so good, I love it! When you mentioned Mary and John’s names, I was like “wait a minute” and when I kept reading I was like, “WAIT A MINUTE” So good. Thanks for writing such a wonderful fic. Can’t wait to see what happens in the sequel!

Up to a week?! That's how long Rae and BB have to wait for their Powers to come back?! That's kind of a long time... Not good.
Although, traces of Ravens powers seem to still exist. Her bond seems to still be active, and maybe some of her aura perception. I wonder if she can still cast spells? Does she still have to meditate? Could she theoretically become Trigons Portal in this state? I know he's not around, but Trigon would be pissed if not. Was Robins uttering of Ravens name truly a coincidence or did it have to do with the bond? Does Slade know about the bond? How do Slades charm and the bond interact (they seem similar yet contrary to one another)?
So many questions, and one way to find the answers. On to the next Chapter!

I admit, I was looking forward to Scarecrow getting a taste of his own medicine from Rae, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Things are looking pretty grim for ... like everyone, but at least all main characters are still alive, though perhaps de-powered, imprisoned and/or grieving over lost family/friends. On to the next chapter!

Okay, this is my first ever review on FFN, but I just had to comment that this story has been absolutely incredible to read so far, and I am unequivocally eager for the next chapter.

The characters are believable and - despite the sizable cast - do not suffer from bouts of capricious behavior. The pacing of the story is easy to follow, and lends favor to the reader's imagination. The dialogue is realistic (again, in terms of each character's expected personality) and, at least in my case, I can hear their voices in my head while reading. Remarkable!

I could gush on and on about every minute detail I personally enjoy about this story, but I suppose I'll spare any wandering eyes a unsightly wall of text. All in all, this has got to be one of my favorite stories on this site, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that even with the conclusion of this story drawing near, there may still be the possibility of a sequel!

OMG, Batman and the Titans missed Slade and co by mere hours? Oh so close yet lightyears away. Thank you for the update! I was just rereading the previous two chapters in anticipated excitement when I saw your update. I'm bummed that we didn't get Slade, Robin, and Alfred in this chapter, but I'm extra excited for the next chapter now. Also, holy cow with the revelations in this one! Tamaran is under attack by a crazy universe altering invasion? Hijack is somehow alive after being partly decomposed?! It's as if you're setting up a whole bunch of distractions for Batman and the Titans, leaving Slade ample time to manipulate and train Robin. I love it. Also love the Batgirl foreshadowing. Thanks again! I'm hoping we don't have to wait too long for the next one. You said this story is coming to an end soon though right? I'm hoping you're plotting a sequel, especially with all of these new developments unfolding.

Great work! I can't wait to read more. I'm excited for more Robin, Alfred, and Slade. I loved the humor in this chapter and the Raven parts. I liked Barbara and Gordons interaction, too. Also Lex us such a jerk!
