Ace in a suit. I’ll keep that mental image for a while. Apart from that, I really enjoyed reading your story. From when Ace first met Luffy and until he came back in the end. And Luffy is really like Luffy here! What he says and does like when Marco tells him to stay put once they get out of the lift…of course he doesn’t. And of course he stays by Ace’s side while the other is unconscious, that was really sweet.

I also liked the part with Kalifa, it showed just how much Ace was bound to the agency, especially since he was so sure that Luffy was real but then he ended up in the same room again and again. And his reaction when he finally woke up and Luffy was gone. That was so Ace! :D

And I really like your style of writing. It’s smooth and vivid and reading this one shot was a real joy! So, thanks for writing this! :)
