Good story, didn’t like the smut because it wasn’t well written, and I try to keep away from it. Thankfully that wasn’t the main story.

Rize’s backstory is actually explained canonically in the manga. I’ve not finished the anime past root A so I’m not sure what’s included/excluded. Just so you know! I guess you can look it up on Tokyo Ghoul Fandom, if you want to know about it! Be warned, you may or may not like it. It ties into a few plot points a lot, so it could change your view of her quite a lot. I won’t say much, since I don’t know what is told in the re anime. I personally do like the backstory, but you might not. You could also read the manga, but that can be quite tedious. It does give you a lot of background info though! You can also get all of that from the wiki. Unless you just don’t want more background info. That’s fine too.

(I watched season 1 and root A, then I read the whole manga, and now I’m going to finish re anime hopefully.)

A few spoilers past here, more like one, but still...

I’ve just started Tokyo ghoul fan fiction, and I can tell a lot of the pairings aren’t gonna be my favourite. Right now, KaneRize is number one, and I really liked kurona and nashiro when I saw them in the anime but I haven’t seen much on them so far. It’s quite sad what happened to them though... I didn’t really mind Touka and Kaneki getting together canonically, it just seemed quite random and rushed (I read this part in the manga), so it kind of put me off, but I might get into it, we’ll see.

This is the only Kaneki x Rize fanfiction that’s amazing, you did a really good job with this story I enjoyed it so much

I laughed from the start of this chapter to the end, Rize has such a good opinion of Kaneki. If only she knew what monster he can become in different circumstances. I won't lie, I hoped that something would happen and Kaneki would still become a half ghoul, I can't see him as nothing else then a Ghoul and the thought of him not able to slaughter hundreds in minutes is foreign to me.

This fic is by far the best Tokyo Ghoul fic and each word, each sentece was a bliss to read. I hope you keep writing beacause you have a talent. Once I started reading I couldn't stop.
