I loved this fic so much! It's always wholesome to see Gintoki babysitting Kagura, but with younger versions of themselves- I just feel like my chest will explode of the amount of warmth it gives me can't wait for the next chapter! keep going sweetheart!

Glad to see this story isn’t dead

Just like all the previous chapters, I love the story and the characterization. However, there are too many metaphors. I only slightly realised this in the previous chapters but this chapter made it clear.

It's good! So good, I wish it would be longer HAHAHAHA. I love that the characters are in character. Otose's point of view gave a much better understanding of Gintoki's character. Will you also be putting the Shinsengumi? I could imagine the gang HAHBAHAHAHA Great work!

Okay, wow. I'm late. I didn't actually know this was still a work in progress, but man. You left me on a cliffhanger!

Oh Dear Lord I did not see this coming. I watched Gintama yeeeaaarrrrssss... ago. Predictably, I got nowhere close to the end. But I remember it fondly and every now and then I think back on my favorite episodes (like the snowball fight). I've never been interested in reading fanfics for it though but here I am, a decade later, stumbling across this jewel as the first Gintama story I've ever read. You may have just ruined me for all others. This is beautiful, heartwarming, poetic, and simply stunning. It's struggle and kindness and hope and love in the backdrop of a child who grew up too fast and tries so hard. I love everything about this. Stunning.
