This story does a nice job of highlighting how crappy Rory was to Jess. Overall, when I rewatched the show recently that's what stuck with me. Everyone blamed Jess for leaving, and complained about how he broke her, but the episodes are filled with tons of times where he does something sweet or expresses that he loves her, and she runs or shuts him out. She's always going back to him not being the logical choice or the smart choice. It eventually becomes obvious, like in your story, that he's the one who makes her feel the most, that overwhelms her good sense and makes her do things she normally wouldn't, and she runs from that for years. A lot of years in your story, and a lot in the revival. You write a good piece, and I enjoyed reading it.

No more. Not the end. Show us some of their New York life and the whole thing Lorelei said if her being a times writer married and happy with a kid must be seen. I need to see Jess walking an adorable geeky like kid with the brightest baby blues on the sidewalks of NYC or even riding the subway as he drops said kid off at preschool. I want to see him, Rory, and their kid stopping for a quick snack of vendor hotdogs (kid inherited Rory's appetite and Jess couldn't believe it was still hungry after the lunch they just had) as they make their way to some corner local book shop for a Saturdate of booking buying and a stop in the park. Please sir or madame, I want some more. :D

They are so cute and real and having real adult fights. I love them and your writing and even their fights are love. But girl (or boy) I will throttle you! Why can't you let our babies be happy and stay happy! Can't Rory just move and write from Philly and mail in her articles? Go down to Baltimore like once or twice a month for office meetings!? Can't she just write for the Philadelphia Tribune or something...why can't just leave them happy!? Love and kind dislike you fir how addicted I am to this fic.
