Wonder what will happen when he gets his armor (preferably x-o1) and his weapons (railgun perhaps) maybe a few dozen dead dark eldar and a little castration on the side to a few chaos twits. Can't wait for the next chapters and for the embarasment of the toilet smurfs(ultra marines). ALWAYS ANGRY ALL THE TIME!

Well, war never changes. At all, ever, or so it would seem. I like the premise thus far.

The single biggest improvement that could be made would be breaking the dialogue out of the blocks it's in currently; that would greatly improve readability.

Also, a minor tech nitpick; by 2077, tiltrotors such as the Vertibird had generally superseded fixed-geometry helicopters entirely, at least in military use. They have the maneuverability and VTOL ability of a helicopter, but can reach prop-plane speeds with the rotors forward. The biggest problem is mechanical; supplying power to the rotors usually has to be done via driveshaft, and making that tilt can be hard. Fallout U.S. Military has ultracompact fusion to get around that.

The direct appearance of the Emperor is always something to handle with care, but I think it works here. It seems in character for him to put irons in the fire with no definitive plan for how he might use them; in a long enough time span, just about anything might come in handy.

- That said, the stats the Subject 13 achieved are remarkable, but things that are much worse are about as rare as dirt in the 41st Millennium. The intelligence increase is good; assuming he worked on Power Armor in Anchorage, it'd be safe to assume that he was above average already; 60% boost would be solid. What might help is improved processing time for better reaction and snap judgment, as well as better sub-conscious tracking and spatial reasoning for using firearms.

Ultimately, you could probably include further improvements by continued work by the virus over the intervening eons; the fact that it was well beyond design parameters could also introduce all sorts of FUN (for us, at least) narrative opportunities.
