While the idea of implanted gem shards are cool, this would be downright disgusting for the crystal gems instead i think that the idea of getting their power through caine or putting gem shards on their weapons would be better

This was repetitive, but it made the most since. Most shows would have had their abilities reveal themselves in combat, but that doesn't make any sense. Anyone with a brain would take the time to figure their special powers out before rushing into battle. So yeah this wasn't the best but it was the most logical decision.

It's a good story, but lots of things are weird and wrong. This chapter was extremely confusing. Like what the hell. Was that one on his old laptop a the pier a dream or flashback? Was the one where he got beat up actually happening?! WHAT?
