A delight of a fic and definetly hppe to see where it goes... Though I do hope for Arkos since their chemistry do mesh well in this story better than the rest at least... Though blake does come of as a hypocrite and annoying as time go in cannon due to her decision that will get her team in trouble or dead due to chasing international terrorist group White Fang and Number 1 vale criminal without a plan and just jump in without thinking despite supposely someone who specialises in the more clandestine aspect... Though Jaune strenght is really quite bad and a bit inconsistent i notice... He is either super untalented or holding back cause he train harder and way more than the rest but is just about their level.. Despite it being obcious he train more than at least Yang, intese than weiss or more longer than Ruby... On that note when will his crush on weiss end? It startong to become just a minor sideline and akwardly insert as if a afterthought at most onstance... Might better to break from cannon and go a different path for this story and maybe get him more active but glad Jaune is more atune to his brain and strategy rather than being a knuclehead brawn that most tend to do... As if saying if you are strong amd train hard you will be dumb... But do hope you are alright and the story may continue.

I am sad that this fic appears to be on indefinite hiatus, I liked the organic character interactions and the interesting Grimm variants. (And I'll admit that you piqued my curiousity as to what Jaune's semblance is...)

So, while this story seems to be on a bit of a hiatus, I still feel I should give some feedback.

I really like the character interaction - the mostly organic and belieavable dynamics of the teams, the slice of life scenes (especially the photos), the expanded world and the way you flesh out the story.
I realize that (at least partially) you lean on "The Games We Play" worldbuilding and backstory, but since I love it (and actually prefer it to canon) there are absolute no complaints from me on that! Especially the Arc family backstory.

I also like your Jaune, although his interactions with Pyrrha and Weiss are somewhat jarring when you compare between when they meet and the rest of the story.

Read through it again and must say that it was even better that I remember. Your inspiration by TGWP can be seen but it's just that inspiration. The power up of Jaune is brilliantly done, looking forward for the reveal of his semblance. Jaune isn't perfect and has some glaring flaws but they make him human which is nice. Your portrayal of Grimm is really nice and the new species are interesting. Hopefully you have not abandoned this story cause that would be sad. This story really has some potential to be one of the best RWBY stories on site.
