Interesting chain of events. Kate, at the moment is staying with Rick. Ganz may truly be alive. Looks like Kate and Rick are going on a trip to LA.

Well it looks like Rick just became useful to Kate. So is Ganz also still alive? Also what if any connection does he have to the miserable excuse for a man, Hal Lockwood? I'll just have to keep reading.

I'm intrigued as to who placed the call to Kate and then hung up shortly after. I'm pretty sure it was not Rick or he would have said something. I'll keep reading and hopefully will find out.

Different place, different setting but that wonderful attraction is still there.

I really enjoyed chapter 1. I especially enjoyed the tie in to Kate Beckett and 'The Blue Butterfly'. For your story it appears that Kate's mom was the one killed at the Pennybaker Club.

I have no idea why I have not been reading this story but I noticed a chapter posted the other day so I decided to start it. Very interesting prologue.
