truthfully its not wrong to think that way. and I would think that way too. cause like if ya can't take care of yourself ya can't take care if others. no point in putting your life in danger for others when they won't do the same. it is a survival of the fittest. I prefer characters like her that think that way. everybody dies in the end there's nothing you can do. its a cycle of life. sure you could be sad, like for a day but life goes on.

well I can't say I'm sad that she doesn't care for them. cause honestly I'm not actually I'm jumping for joy. finally a different reaction.

Love it~ I've been scouring the OC tags in search of a good insert story and yours definitely makes it onto my list...it's just too bad most of the stories on my list are on long hiatus :( ...anyway, I do hope that maybe one day you'll come back to this story. Also, I'm personally routing for Shikamaru/Sakato, and hope they're still endgame. Still, if they're not, I understand. Your writing is good enough that the romance doesn't matter too much, though it'll be nice to see our main character form a romantic bond...lol I imagine her coming to terms with her feelings would be hilarious. I personally feel Shikamaru is the best candidate to keep up with her and not mind her eccentric ways. No hard feelings if you choose someone else or none at all though. Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed, and hope to see an update soon. And if not, thank you for your time, it was an enjoyable read. Wish you well...

None the less, I’m so curious about Satoko’s reaction to killing the bandit. I’m assuming that one managed to sneak up on Shirai and she just auto-piloted and eliminated the threat. Although she seemed so nonchalant and dismissive, is that what she would really feel especially for her first kill? _

Hi, how's it going?
I just began to read. The start, tearing off apart a family, I can't say it's a posture I can't agree with but I agree with that it's able to attract some attention.

Towards your writing style, I prefer books with a little bit more of description but as long as you keep on with the story, it won't hurt anyone.

I also have to confess that I'm a bookworm so I don't know how representative of the readers I am, but I can assure that I'll leave a review every 5 to 7 chapters I read, depending on if I like the style&story or not and the time I have available to read.

Also if this is going to be a long story, I suggest to put a break or a sharp turn in the story on around the 34 chapter without f***ing out the plot to keep readers like me reading. Although some Fanfics I've read (Xover: When Destiny burns, by Masterdude21 )have kept a lot of readers with a bit monotone writing.

After all, thanks a lot for writing this story and for catching me to read it. I'm liking it so far.
