and i just have to agree to one of the people who reviewed on the part where sasuke told sakura to be mindful of what shes wearing. I know you have been away for a very long time to fix it but i hope youll have time in the future. Men should learn to control themselves. They should not tell a woman what to wear. Learn to stop themselves from commiting violence. It is not the woman's fault that shes wearing something sexy or anything. I was kind of hoping that sakura would say something in defense from that hahaga. Anw. I still love your story. Hope youll do something about it in the future.

finished reading the whole thirteen chapters. this fic deserves all the love. well written. i like how you portray sasuke here. i like how you emphasize everything esp sasukes feelings emotion just everything that is going in his mind. also with sakura's. Good job! Hope youll have the time to finish this story. this is really great. The story is not fast paced just the right pace (?) hahaha. please come back!

Re my review last chapter. One of the most important things I forgot in the last comment was consent. Sasuke grabbing Sakura’s hand and pushing it against his erection is quote literally sexual assault. Imagine if this was real life and these two were just normal friends (or strangers even). It doesn’t matter if Sakura used to have feelings for Sasuke, it’s about having consent in the moment.

I read this chapters in the hopes that Sakura marches back out and tells Sasuke off. However I must add on to the offenses (sorry, kinda). Sakura here doesn’t simply let this happen, but is overjoyed. In fact she is trying to ‘process the amazing thing that had just happened.’ Sexual assault, amazing? Yes to Sakura maybe that’s something she’s excited about but in a story please do not phrase what Sasuke did as amazing. Moreover, Sakura monologues that ‘if he ... desired her, all he needed to do was reach out and she would never refuse?’ Again, consent. Always have consent. Never should we hint that a woman will never want to refuse a man. This is such problematic language and provides such a a slippery slope for young readers. A huge part of what’s wrong with rape culture is women themselves not understanding or accepting it’s prevalence and v real harms.

I know so much of this is context-specific, due to the relationship between these two. Nonetheless, please be careful not to incorporate language and ideas that may reinforce norms of rape culture.

I want to start by saying I really like this story and all your works. Honestly a big fan, yours were some of my earlier well-written SasuSaku reads, ones that cemented my life long love for the ship. Howeverrr, I wanted to bring up something a bit problematic with this chapter - rape culture. I’m not saying that you’ve depicted or promoted rape here, but some of the text here does echo the rape culture in our society. By saying that Sakura should be mindful of what she’s wearing else she ‘wants to be put on her back’ is insinuating victim blaming. Not to mention she is her own home, and just getting out of bed! Sasuke shouldn’t feel like he’s almost entilted to jump her - that it’s natural given their past and the fact he’s a man and she’s a woman. Sasuke never checks himself in this chapter, doesn’t realize that he should be chastising himself about his urges to have his way with her instead of putting the blame on her. Perhaps this is a deliberate part of his character you’ve written, but if so, please either within the story or in the notes, make it clear rape culture is NOT condoned. FFnet has had a bad history of abusive storylines gaining popularity, which is such a serious issue given the average age of a reader here is quite young and impressionable.

Also not blaming you for this, as I know people weren’t aware of such things years ago as it wasn’t in mass public discourse. It’s understandable. I know it can be hard making a story sexy, dramatic and thrilling while cautious not to condone the wrong things, but it is possible! There’s quite some good works here within SasuSaku fandom that does it well too :)

Anyway, might be a long shot to hope you’ll be able to edit this now, years after you’re done with this. If you do, thank you so so much and much respect. If not, thanks anyway for the work.

I love this story! I think the pacing is wonderful. I adore how tender Sakura is, and how vulnerable Sasuke is. I also really enjoyed their interaction with other characters. So fun!

Please update! you cannot simply leave your readers hanging after all the supsense and built up! You are an amazing writer!
