Okay, I love this story! I'm not a huge fan of Carlisle and Esme being the big baddies in any story, but if it bothered me that much then I suppose I would have stopped reading. Lol. Seriously though, thank you! I've been looking through every Peter story I could find and was NOT having much luck in finding one that suited me. So glad I gave this one a chance. Excuse me while I go and browse through your other stories.

I seriously don’t understand what the heck is going on. First he says he only sees her as a sister, then suddenly a switch is flipped and then he grabs her as his mate. Then he says he’d never teach her to fight/ turn her into a warrior the way he was raised but chooses to deliver her on a silver platter to the one place where he KNOWS shits going to go down - the place where his vamp self was born and raised. Not to mention the fact that he keeps spouting off that the Captain and the Major are all powerful and shit and that everyone, even the Volturi are so fucking afraid of them that they quake in their boots AND YET the moment they step into the newborn camp (with Garrett - who seemed to have vanished during their first fight) they totally get beaten like pussies. NOT TO MENTION the fact that they’re all supposedly buddy-buddy with Aro, the all-powerful leader of the Vampire world but your Peter is not only afraid to contact him, but that the Volturi seem to be totally canon fodder in this story. These huge, glaring, contradictions give me such a headache. I wish I could reconcile my love for this paring with a story with more plot holes than cheese.

I’m terribly confused. There are leaps in decisions and events that I can’t seem to follow. Not much dialogue either, just introspection yet the reasons behind why things are happening or even connecting events that seems to flow between scene changes are lacking.

Are all vamp men just little frat boys waiting to escape? Or just hard-cases like Jasper and Peter. (Garrett seems like a follower in this fic.)

Peter is our hero and his "gift" that isn't is a great help. He's a competent adult. So unlike the Cullens. Bella lucked out.

Got everything and everybody set goodness Bella is a normal newborn, not perfect from the box.
