I will say this now: I believe this story was better than Colour Blends. Plot(maybe, they were both really good), descriptions and overall funniness were much better written in this one. I couldn’t stop laughing in the last chapter. Great story. Thank you.

You did a pretty good job with the "Octoling stuck in Inkopolis" theme that a lot of writers have been using. Great story. alongside the first one, these two stories were fun to read... but I feel like the main characters (Tori and Jake) could have used a little backstory. I mean don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with them, but a little backstory could've help define and flesh out the characters. I would try that in the future. It doesn't need to be a huge backstory, just enough to flesh out the character(s) so that they can stand out.

Regardless, good stories my friend. Keep up the good work. :)

But anyways nice job. It was a bit irksome though that they have to publicly announce the ones who defeated the Octarians. I thought at first they were supposed to be hiding the Octarian threat issue as to not induce a hysteria in inkopolis. I was expecting like a secret agent party to celebrate Jake and Tori's victory against the Octarians, instead of being in inkopolis news. But anyways congrats on finishing Protector! But please stop saying that your chapters have nothing to do with story, you'd reflect a bad impression towards other readers (who read the reviews first before the story)

Well that's gonna be a long time to wait. Overall the chapter is great! Best one in this chapter. Even if it's not really connected to the previous chapters, it's still great seeing these two together having a life. Can't wait for their birthday. "Color Blend" is still better than the sequel, in my opinion. Tori and Jake are made for each other 3

Turned out good Jake. I liked the suspense at the end of the fifth chapter (although obviously he would be fine; he is a protagonist after all)

This chapter is the best part in this story. I absolutely like that the part when Tori was in controlled. It could've been better if she was in control for a little while and takes the next chapter to get her back, but I accept your writting. It would be better if the fight was longer. If the story is ending soon, I say the first story is better. You made it well for the introduction of these two and the relationship between Inkling and Octoling, which is awesome.

Damn...You really have a knack on making simple and easy to conceive battles. I for one can't make my stories to be on par with that...As I always say. Good job. Short but point is understood.

I might expect a deus ex machina coming right after this am i right? Anyways kudos.
