About halfway through this chapter, a huge thunderstorm stirred up outside my house. Like, the biggest one we’ve had in years, the lightning and thunder is insane— meaning it’s perfectly appropriate and matches Very Well with what I’m reading, holy shit

I don’t think i really know anything about Irma, aside from a few passing mentions. I kinda just thought she was like. April’s one human friend who isn’t tangled up in all this but your authors note has got me kinda *eyes emoji*

This was a fun chapter! It was really nice to get to see Amos’s take on events, even if at a certain point I was *convinced* his name was gonna be Hun like the 2003 character, lmao.

Hey, Scarletts back! Just in time for Splinter to have an existential crisis!
I really like how you did the spirit plane scene! If felt surreal, while also not so far fetched as to be hard to follow. I was a little concerned when splints mentioned that Scarlett has some level of skill in the spirit plane to manipulate things, but you handled that beautifully as well, it never felt unreasonable.

This chapter really draws to light the tragedy of Karai :(. I hope, even after all she’s done, that she gets a happy ending too
