Ugh. No, no, no. I'm trans and sick to death of this type of "plot twist," it is a dehumanizing played-out trope. I partly read fics of my favorite game to *escape* the daily experience and reminders of transphobia, in my life, in the news, in the media. We are real human beings, not plot devices.

I'm honestly too upset to write more. I've never been this harsh in a review before, but you got my blood boiling. In the future please do better. I'm not making assumptions, but if you're not trans, either don't write trans characters or make damn sure you can do it respectfully.

I really like how close Max's bond is with the other character that she previously despised, Victoria and David
It's something that we don't see it blooming in the original game
And it's really pleasant to see and it's making me warm and fuzzy inside XD

Amazing Fanfic! First time I come on this website, never really had the time, neither the will to read Fanfiction (because in my mind it was crap)! But since I finished Life is Strange, I'm trying to find as much things as possible that are related to this game! And that was Hella Fanfic right here!

This was amazing I absolutely loved your work and had to say when I was reading this it just seemed to engulf me in a whirlpool of emotions and I gotta so this one by far one of my favourite FF Novels and is easily in my top five probably even top three

Amazing short story. You managed to concisely tell a well thought out story in 30k words that most cannot do in 90k, all the while showing you know the details to the game and characters (because you played it and paid attention!) I'm looking forward to reading your second story in this series in a few minutes, and it is my hope you keep up interest and keep writing these. (your story is the only LiS FF story I've completed, the other stories made me lose interest due to meandering, pointless, and fluffy writing. I especially dislike fluff; I'd rather the story go somewhere, like the game did, and spend a little bit of time on small, interesting details.)

Anyway, a few more thoughts: I thought I wouldn't like your story at first because I thought it was a Chasefield fic, and I didn't get the whole 'Victoria can see ghosts' thing. But hey, did you ever watch the show Being Human? It made me think of that and I figured, if that show had ghosts and then time travel, why not time travel, then ghosts in this? After all the doe that Max kept seeing was Rachel, and clearly there was supernatural elements going on Canon-wise in the game, even if it never got explained. (which is fine by me, the game wasn't about that!) And you fleshed it out decently, without throwing in vampires or secret cults or fluff like that. Anyway, hope you become a writer someday, or maybe you already are? Maybe for a good TV show?

Things I think are going to happen in the future:

1. The Prescott family will be forced to give away their entire fortune to the poor citizens of Arcadia Bay.

2. Thanks to that money, Chloe and Max will live in a loft (think Thea Queen's loft from "Arrow").

3. Chloe and Max will adopt a baby girl after getting a call from Kate that one of her friends (an original character)from California died in childbirth. The child will be named Rachel due to a scary resemblance to Rachel Amber.

4. The child will grow up with Chloe's somewhat foul language, but having love for all things art like Rachel and Max. She would call Chloe "Momma" and Max "Mommy/Mom"

5. Julia will kill Max and Chloe when making a surprise visit; triggering Rachel's space-time manipulation powers of her own as a result of the trauma.

This has probably been the best fanfic I've read, you did a great job with this story.
