This is so good it's depressing

I do really like seeing things where Undyne takes care of Sans (or the reverse, but I haven't seen that yet) because of their mutual love for Papyrus. They both have a sort of understanding of each other, and even if they're not close, there's still something. The stress on Undyne was portrayed well, too. I don't think she'd want to be empress, but she does what she has to. At least the Underground is willing to help everyone.

Wow, I don't think that any other fanfiction depicting the death of a loved-one has made me feel that lonely hole in one's heart. In other words, oh my God I feel like sans and I miss Papyrus too. This fic is real sad...

I absolutely love the way you wrote Sans though, it's so perfect and heartbreaking and on point. Toriel's innocence in making him a plate of spaghetti and Sans breakdown were so well written.

Sans' grief here really feels like him - which is impressive, because he's not a character I can often imagine as actively feeling this sort of crushing loss. He's a little more nihilistic, or ennui-ridden, than he is prone to open displays of emotion... but this fits, it really does. And it is /crushing/.
