So, is this story up for adoption? Also, DC has WAY more characters and compoluted plot lines with things ranging from alternate timelines to parallel worlds to completely different universes merging and breeding new ones. That isn't even counting all of the McGuffins, plot holes and continuity inconsistencies.

Very good so far! You tend to jump ahead and not fill in the blanks (I'm guilty of the same thing... a proofreader once told me I write screenplays, not stories), but the flow is comfortable, if a little rushed. It seems you're not concerned with depth of character. Since fanfiction is based on already established characterization, it's understandable to not put a lot of focus on it. Using a bit more description and character development (why are Gohan's clothes odd? What is he wearing? Also home life, supporting characters, etc.) may help slow your pacing down a bit and allow your world to become a bit more robust. I'd consider delving into cooking metaphors, but I think you get the gist.
