Ugh! I am so confused. I was sure earlier it was Edward, but if his DNA doesn't match then it must be Carlisle. However, his inner POV that we are seeing makes it seem different. This story is so good, intriguing and suspenseful. I love it.

OH shit! Carlisle killed them, didn't he? I first thought it would have been to protect Edward, but she isn't his and the killer came back and knew her as 'Honey B'. What a twist. Can't wait to see if I'm right!

YAY! I'm so glad Esme and Carlisle are home! I was hoping that the others wouldn't be able to put her off. I can't wait to see Alice's reaction! Then again, if Alice 'sees' her at the house before they get home, she might make Jasper take a detour. Oh God...fingers crossed.

OK, so I was wrong in my assumption about Edward being taken back to Volterra, however, I still think the attacker was Edward and that it was he whom they confronted. I think he might have killed them.
I really hope that Edward gets NOTHING from Jasper and I REALLY, REALLY hope that Alice doesn't call the number, though I think she will.
I absolutely cannot believe she basically stole his phone and e-mail!

Well, you've certainly given us enough suspects. LOL I think it's Edward and I believe that when the Volturi was mentioned that Caius overheard and confronted them, taking them all to Volterra. He would have heard them say that Edward attacked her and the fact that she's till alive, not only does it sign Edward's death warrant, but it might be discovered that she's a hybrid or that she had a hybrid child.
I wish Alice would give it up. I want to feel sorry for her and in a way I do because she's going to lose the man she believes she loves, but if she really loved him, how could she treat him the way she does? All she cares about is that he stays with her and nothing else. Selfish.

Great storyline. Fun, good suspense, really surprise answers. Lot of fun, and enjoyed reading.

Was right that Edward was Renee's father, though it was iffy at times. Thought maybe Alice had the results falsified and Edward really might be Bella's father, and someone else Renee's. Didn't think it was Carlisle who was Bella's. Maybe Bella will make them both ash. Along with Alice.
