Warning unnecessary rant ahead: Hiccup has been difficult for a large percentage of this story. He just hasn't been a likable character. Maybe I stand alone in finding him and Cami to be absolutely annoying in their behavior in Arendale. The negativity is just obnoxious. As a Hiccelsa shipper, I never would think that Elsa honestly deserves better than this. They were exceptionally rude and closed-minded which differs from Elsa, who found the Vikings to be uncivilized but showed intrigue in their culture/history. Maybe I'm just over the romanticization of Vikings which is more of a problem with media and pop culture in general (not your fault). At least when Elsa ran away from her kingdom, it was because she was afraid of being threatened by them and feared she would cause them harm. I didn't expect this story to get such a reaction of out me. I'm just so over Hiccup's issues. Elsa and Anna's mother returning really did serve little purpose besides being another opposing force to Hiccup. Vent over. I do appreciate the role of dragons in this story. They are obviously important to HTTYD and you integrate them well into Frozen universe. I really did love the beginning of this story and I still am looking forward to more.

I can't wait for an update. This has really started becoming one of my favorite fics for this ship.

Good history

So soon there'll be a red death of an Astrid storming the halls. A slack jawed Gobber among other hilarious Viking faces. Especially when they hear what Hiccup and Elsa are planning.
The Seven Kingdoms are up to something.
And Anna has yet to return.

Been a while! Had to read like 3 chapters to get caught up...but decided to reread the story lol

Hiccup is a cunning fighter that is true. He uses dexterity, speed, and wit over strength and simple ferocity and is not afraid to pull tricks to gain advantage. However that being said. The hidden blades. That just makes me cringe a bit. Swords, Bows, Spears, knives, and dragons. Going so far as to make hidden blades just for the 'cool factor' works against you. He's not a ninja or assassin. It doesn't fit his character at all. Not in the way he has thus been portrayed.

You don't sieze to impress me! I fancy the idea of jon meeting Hiccup, there so simliar in a lot of ways. Also I'm glad that Elsa and Hiccup are going to spend more time doing things they like. I also hope Hiccup can heal from the war, he deserves it.

this is flippin great. Would you mind turning up the rating to at least a T however? Would love to get some "scenes" here and there.

Nice chapter, also nice of you to introduce Jon Snow as well. Will there be a reference to him and Eret having he same voice? I think it would be funny little tidbit.
