Alright, you got me right there with Sanji's Game of Thrones line, I really had to laugh. :D
Apart from that, I like the chemistry Ace and Sanji have in this one shot. It's relaxed and mature, without much drama and was certainly very nice to read.

This isn't one of my ships, but I loved this story!

That was sweet and fun to read.

Sanji’s characterisation is perfect. I love the way you portrayed his flirtatious and admiring demeanour around women to fit the setting; his talk with Nami in particular was really natural and satisfying. And of course I enjoyed how he handed it to table 10; the way he forces himself to count to five and Nami’s teasing comment show that, highly acclaimed professional though he is, Sanji still has that no-bullshit anger that we all know and adore, and I loved that. The fact he passes food onto shelters and takes care of hungry cats are also wonderful additions.

I really like the depth to Ace’s character too; his body language when he’s first introduced is so telling of where he is in life as well as how guilty/reserved/burdening he’s feeling (which I think is very in character btw) even before anything’s said or explained. And it’s continued throughout the story, which is great because whilst I see Ace as a straight shooter, when it comes to himself, I think of him expressing more with his actions than his words – intentionally or not – and it gave him a kind of atmosphere, y’know?

I LOVED the humour throughout! Honestly, I was smiling from start to finish. The comment about Luffy being grown in a tube, “Ace, you make it two hours without destroying something and I’ll consider making you assistant manager.”, the very brief mention of Zoro washing-up like a machine – I loved all of it, and it made the story even more of a joy to read!

Not to mention, "Well, it wasn't the entire plan, but it might have been part of it." which was just perfect, and makes me feel all warm and squirmy inside!

Oh! Also, extra points for the tiny inclusion of Bartolomeo!

Really, this fic just ticked all the boxes for me. It was so sweet, with the very slightest hint of angst (which I’m always a sucker for!), and it was hot too at the end; ‘making sounds he never thought he would make’ and ‘Ace was lovely as he came’ are particular highlights.

Seriously, thank you so, so much for writing this because I absolutely loved it!

I love this couple, one of top three for sure. I love them and don't get me wrong but I feel weird when Zoro is in the au fic but is not with Sanji (or at least I think he was the dishwasher guy Sanji mentioned)... I don't know how to explain it.
But I loved Sanji here, all sophisticated and flirty but not in an annoying way and him with Ace WOW, nothing could go wrong, they are perfect and SUPER HOT!

Was surprised to receive a notification about this update, albeit a late one.
Simply loved the work and the bonding you have shown between Ace and Sanji here. You completely stuck to the character's actual spirit and that is probably what I enjoy the most in your fics.
LOL. The cats Chopper gets regularly was an extremely cute touch and the smutt was simple, sensual and wonderful.
Thank you so much for updating a new fic and since you announced the end of your presumed - never-ending - hiatus, I will be looking forward to more updates. Doesn't matter how late or soon those are!

Of COURSE Sanji would be known for kicking customers out of his restaurant (often literally, I imagine). I loved the interactions between him and his staff and him and Ace, you write him so well.
