OK, that's pretty good and I'll start to cry in a few seconds. Fortunately, there's more chapters!

This chapter was rather depressing to be honest, but sometimes you have to face harsh reality head on. The idea that the TARDIS might never fly again is not only depressing but heartbreaking as this has been the Doctors home and only link to his home planet for thousands of years.

Ah the Doctor and his hair... Always had been a little vain about it. I'm not such a fan of David's extensions but that was a nice way to introduce the grief.

What a lovely completely Doctor-ishly way to start the chapter. Of course he wouldn't want to be bound to a bed for any length of time, and would try to hide his pain. His not wanting to sleep is understandable. Lots of fics have the Doctor and Rose reuniting only for it to turn out to be a very heartingly detailed dream. The bit of introspection was good, but its not that Rose doesn't want him, but she has been without him for several years, and probably doesn't want to get her hopes up, only to have to them dashed. They won't, as the Doctor was a complete mess with out her.

Rose does like her tea. Its sweet that he knows what she does when she's sad, and then acts on sad knowledge. So his coming there was an accident at least as far as he knows. The TARDIS is known for being sneaky. The real question or questions are: are they able to return to their universe, and if not can the Doctor handle a relatively domestic life? Considering whether or not he can fix the TARDIS.

I read all these updates as they appeared but then put them in a folder to be review when I had time. Sorry this came so late, but there here now.
I love how we got the Doctor's POV of the events leading up to his waking up and after being reunited with Rose. Good to know that he doesn't think its a dream anymore. That must have been hard on Rose. Thank goodness for Pete and Jake's quick acting. Losing the the Doctor isn't allowed, not now that they've been reunited.

I was so absolutely excited when I saw that this had been updated. I love the idea behind it, and am so glad that there's more to come. Poor Doctor, thinking its all a dream. However I do like how you have him in his long flowing locks that David had for Richard III. That's just awesome.

I have always been interested in reading this and was very happy to see it pop up again via the "follow" list. I sincerely hope you will continue this, especially as I remembered how much I liked when I've just re-read it.

This is getting exciting! Pete's in charge and not afraid to use it when he needs to. The Doctor is certainly a case in which he needs to use his authority and Director. I do like how Jake's gone to get Rose. This will be an interesting reunion.
