Not gonna lie, I felt a pang in my chest when the girl referred to Hakeem and Jamal as Anika's sons. I didn't notice the note in the summary about you updating the last chapter until I realized there were some differences between the first version and this one. I enjoyed both versions but this one does read/feel smoother, if that makes sense. Also, it's refreshing to read Cookie being on the receiving end whenever they have sex. Cookie is such a force to be reckoned with and it's always nice to see her be vulnerable whether that's during sex or pouring her heart out in a declaration of love.

I adored the ending but am sad to see this story end. I hope you have some more Cookie and Anika planned.

That was a truly beautiful ending. Even though I sad its done, I actually love this ending. Incredible writing as always, just re-read some of the chapters because there are some typos.

This story was a roller coaster of emotions but I'd go through it again to have that ending our girls got. I seriously want to cry because that ending was as perfect as it could be given that it was Cookie and Anika and their relationship is nothing short of tumultuous. You have a gift and Boo Boo Cookie is something I never knew I needed until your stories, particularly this one.

*Sigh* I don't know if you know how happy it makes me to see this story updated. I go through so many emotions reading the chapters but I'm so glad this one ended on a good note. But because it's Cookie and Anika (Boo Boo Cookie 4eva) and Lucifer, I mean Lucious ain't shit, I'm cautiously rooting for my girls and their relationship. Great work!

Malcolm has one hell of a background. I was just reading up on Jonestown and saw the photos of those who lost their lives. This story is making me a Malcolm sympathizer and I don't know how I feel about it. So glad that Anika found her way to Guyana. Now if she and Cookie can find their way into each other's arms, that'd be the icing on the cake.
