Interesting and fun to read, and yet I’m not sure I buy the notion that Borg drones have conscious memories of their past lives or any sort of individual choice.

Interesting concept, Seven actually choosing to work with the humans back when she was still a drone. I also like how the lat line kind of hints at the relationship that develops between them

Very nice one shot. It was all consistent with what we know of Seven of Nine from the show, but also provided a lot of insight into the character. And I can just imagine how uncomfortable she was at that meal!

A very perceptive look at Seven's thoughts. I wonder if drones did indeed retain bits of memories from their past. It's been a long time since I've seen those episodes or read any of the novels. You have Seven's tone and manner down and I hope to see more of these reflective pieces.
