I sort of feel bad for Oakheart, I mean fighting against his son, and against his mate and kit's Clan. Must hurt knowing you have to hurt your mate and kits for the sake of you Clan.

This is a wonderful rewrite of into the wild! I have not finished it yet but it is very strongly written and read. Well done!

Wait a second. Shadowclan attacked. That means that Spottedleaf was more in likely killed. If that's the case, and, Yellowfang isn't there to become their new medicine cat... doesn't that mean Thunderclan is now without a medicine cat?

I literally never realized just how big of a problem a Thistlestar led Thunderclan could be with regards to the outcome of the first book. Riverclan truly is stuck between a rock and a rough place.

Wonder if it's just me, but, I actually find it kinda insulting to mention Stonefur in the same sentence as Tigerclaw or Clawface. Stonefur truly was an exemplary warrior who any cat could look up to. Tigerclaw and Clawface soon showed their true colors to be practically the opposite of what a warrior should be. Granted I'm talking canon here, so I could be dead wrong.

Geez, I actually don't know what's worse. Hearing or learning at a later date that Windclan territory is abandoned for unknown reasons (what happened more or less in canon) or seeing first hand evidence (this fic).

It's not mostly the same, several paragraphs are completely identical thus copyright infringement. Please make it completely original or it can be reported and possibly taken down.

I wanted to go back and review this chapter because it's one of my favorites. The rivalry between Fireheart and Silverthorn was one of the best parts of this book. There wasn't an equivalent to this in canon so it made his dynamic with RiverClan interesting and different by having a fellow apprentice (and warrior) as an obvious rival. Technically Firepaw had Dustpaw and Sandpaw hate him in canon but they would never have considered killing him! I really appreciate that you took the time to expand on Fireheart's and Silverthorn's tough relationship.

Anyhoo, I love this series, and again, good luck on continuing with book two!
