Wow! I like how you are working this story together. I also think your story points out an unintentional flaw in canon. Hermione while brilliant, and likely it as her place to be the brains of the group did Harry and Ron a disservice long term. She had needed to teach them to find the information instead she often just did the work for them. You’ve fix that flaw by having Harry learn that via Daphne and having to work on his own a bit.
Please, proceed to finish the story. I’m curious as to where you’ll take this.

I love the story so far! The scenes are constructed very well and I love the plot and characters so far! Especially the scene where Daphne first talked to Harry was very well done. I think one thing that could make the writing stronger though is being a little more careful with your use of tenses. This has gotten better over the chapters, just as the story itself, but sometimes the tense changes can be distracting. Except for that and a few minute errors, I love this story and absolutely look forward to reading more!
